Our Reviews of each Boundless Life Location

Below you’ll find links to our video reviews of Boundless Life locations.  In our reviews, we go into details about what to expect at that location, the pros & cons, the education center (Boundless school), the co-working space (Hub), activities, safety, helpful tips and our overall experience.

I’ll also start to add some of our specific recommendations for some of the Boundless locations (farm delivery, holistic healers, lesser known activities, etc ) that we often get asked about.

📍Boundless Life Spain Review

Boundless’ Spain location is in the town of Estepona, Spain. The highlights here are the gorgeous, large beachfront promenade, the location of the school and the overall ease and access to pretty much anything you need!

We’ve actually attended this location TWICE!! Each time for a 3 month cohort but a different season of the year. Our initial video will be more detailed, while the second video will include updates and new recommendations!

Here is our personal experience and in depth review of Boundless Life Estepona, Spain:

Here is our video after attending Boundless Life Andalusia Spain for the second time (but a different season). This video has updates!

Boundless Estepona Recommendations

Here are some lesser known activities, organic farm delivery in Estepona, etc. The best restaurants, cafes, gelato, etc are usually found quite easily so I’m only including special finds here! If you are a foodie, we had two of our absolute favorite foodie experiences here in Estepona. I’ve listed them both below.

  • Organic Food & Goods Delivery:
    • Harinera el Molino: organic flour, nuts, honey, nut butters, seeds, spices etc from a mill. This was a recommendation from the lady that taught the Boundless sourdough making class (she said it was the best place to get flour) and I’ve purchased through here many times. Shipping is fast and easy.
    • Ole Fruits: They source from small organic fruit farms. Depending on what’s in season, they may have mangos, avocados, lemons, olive oil, etc.
    • Organic To Go:  They have organic local produce, local Eggs and meat and honey and olive oil too! They said “Everything is organic certified, no exception. Then we do our best to source locally. We have 98% from Andalusia!” You can read where each product is sourced  on their website.  Their delivery and customer service is fantastic too!
    • Organic CSA produce + eggs box: The local organic regenerative farm CSA that I typically order from. I’ve visited the farm myself and was really impressed by time and attention they put into caring for the soil, land and crops (no monocrops!). They also have fun family farm days and will do private brunches. Contact Oscar on WhatsApp: +34.626.55.9004
  • Organic / Health Food Stores: I often shop at Veritas (organic grocery store) and Natural-Market Life (a little further walk past the big Hyper Carrefour). Though, you can also find some organic goods at Carrefour and Corte Ingles.
  • Ayurvedic Massage & Cooking Class: She offers various types of ayurvedic massage, as well as cooking class, energy work and at times will even deliver meals! She is now located about 20 minute car ride from center of Estepona (beautiful garden and massage hut) but will also come to your house! I’ve had a couple of massages from her and also organized a group of women for a cooking class at her location – it was fantastic! You can reach Kinga at +34.641.08.0703
  • Cook for Dinner Delivery: She has a weekly menu and very reasonable per person charge to provide your family with dinner! Reach out to Tracy on WhatsApp at +34.622.89.8894 (The Fresh Food Co)
  • Healthy Restaurant Favorites: Ikigai (everyone loves), Mom Brunch, Love By Noa are all great healthy options. However, my favorite is Byoko, which is on the outskirts of Estepona (about a 30-45 minute walk or 10 minute car ride)
  • BEST FOODIE FINDS in Estepona: (both you must make a reservation; limited seatings; truly elevated dining experiences)
    • Takeko Sushi Omakase : shout out to our friends that found this place and introduced us to this incredible Omakase experience
    • Restaurante Kuvo: husband and wife team who present a 13 course tasting menu with optional wine pairing ; books up quickly but a truly unique experience
  • Activities:
    • Futbol / Soccer: The English Football Academy Estepona: Contact Nick (WhatsApp +44.7584.818580); Super fun for ages 5-13+ years old. Drop in on Sundays, starts at 10am (ends at Noon). Cost is €15 (all this info is subject to change of course). Various levels of students but it is really well organized and all the kids have loved it!
    • AcroPilates: I’ve really enjoyed Acro Pilates in Estepona. It has been really fun to try something new. Classes are drop in or she will hold a private/group class. Around €20 each. I scheduled a weekly AcroPilates class with the Boundless moms and it was super fun. Contact Julieta +34.638.33.3578
    • Baking Class: When I went in to order a cake at this local pasteleria, the owner (Janell Casco) didn’t speak English to me, which I loved! So I asked if she would hold baking classes for my daughter (who is quite fluid in Spanish and I wanted her to have extra immersion practice + my daughter loves to bake = win-win!). We’ve taken so many classes with her now and it’s been fantastic. The kids always come home with dessert as well. You can contact Janell on WhatsApp at +34.625.29.6219

📍Boundless Life Bali Review

Boundless’ Bali location is in the town of Sanur.  The highlights here are warm weather, the island vibes and the overall value of everything!  The Boundless school in Bali is fantastic too, with a nice green space for the kids to play.

Our video review of Boundless Life Bali can be found at the link below, which includes a review of Boundless locations in Bali, Greece, Tuscany & Portugal.

Here is the exact section of Boundless Life Bali review:

Sanur Bali Recommendations

I could do a whole post on recommendations in Sanur, so here I’ll only include a few special finds. The easiest way to communicate with various businesses around Bali is via WhatsApp. Most places will either accept cash on delivery OR a WISE bank transfer (if you don’t have WISE, I highly recommend it.)

  • Organic Farm Delivery: + Farmstay: Temuku Pupuan is the organic farm delivery in Bali that I used almost every week while staying in Sanur.  Reach out via WhatsApp and they will send you their organic produce list + bakery items + other goods (they have Ghee, Coconut Oil, Sauerkraut, Hummus, Kefirs, Coconut Water, Salad Dressings, along with a huge variety of vegetables and some fruit too).  (Temuku Pupuan also has an organic (kind of rustic) farmstay in Bali!!) www.instagram.com/temukupupuan
  • Bone Broth: Bali Broth has a variety of bone broths, tallow, as well as drink called BIRDS NEST.  Ummmm, I had never heard of Birds Nest drinks before so I asked them about it.  Google it – crazy interesting.  But, I just couldn’t get myself to try it quite yet!
  • Mushroom Powders: @NaturalMushHub  for mushroom powders! Isaw this company listed at a restaurant that I visited in Ubud (called Zest – amazing!!).  I haven’t purchased from them yet, but if Zest is recommending them, I sure they have quality goods!
  • Heey Juice: You’ll hear about this place right away. It’s around the corner from the Boundless Educations Center in Sanur. They offer fresh squeezed juice in glass bottles!! Even better – I would send them a WhatsApp to order ahead of time so that I could just swing by and pick up! (Make sure you let them know you want the Sanur location). WhatsApp: +62.817.0732.999

📍Boundless Life Montenegro Review

Boundless’ Montenegro location is in the town of Kotor.  The highlights here are the majestic beauty of the mountains + the sea + a picturesque old town all within a 10 minute walk.  We also loved staying in the Boundless Life community apartment building, which is also where the school is located, making a really strong community vibe.

Below is our personal experience and review of Boundless Life Kotor, Montenegro.

Additionally, we have a video of our thoughts at the end of our Boundless Life cohort in Kotor.

And, we have a post on Boundless Life Montenegro here!

Kotor Montenegro Recommendations

Overall, it was harder to find true “organic produce” here in Montenegro.  But, I did manage to find a few places that didn’t use any chemicals!

  • Forest Berries & Mushrooms:  This was hands down the best find for berries. Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and a variety of mushrooms.  They pick in the forest and freeze.  They are the freshest frozen berries and a great price. They will deliver too.  WhatsApp:  +382 68 032 820
  • Raw Milk, Cheese, Dairy: Olga at Ovchar Dairy Farm (Fromagerie Ovchar):  I found Olga through some research when trying to find good sources of dairy. She has yogurts, raw milks (including raw goat milk), cottage cheese, variety of cheeses, eggs, meats and lots more.  However, she is a bit hit or miss as to what items are available and if she can deliver.  WhatsApp +328 68 769 277
  • Seljak.me  This website isn’t perfect, but it is a great starting place to try to find what produce is locally available.  I reached out to several places. Some got back to me, others didn’t.  This is where I found the amazing berries listed above – so definitely some good finds are possible, just takes a little time.
  • Grocery: The main place I went to for organic dry goods, was actually at the Mall… on the 2nd floor (middle floor) there is an Organic Cosmetic Store.  The back wall has a nice selection of organic spices, flours, beans, pastas, nut butters, and so much more.
  • Green Story:  small organic shop with organic produce and dried goods!
  • SAUNA: During the off season, this hotel offers an amazing package for use of a large private spa room, which includes a sauna & private swimming pool, showers, etc. It was around 30 Euro TOTAL for up to 4 people for 1h45m … which was amazing!! Group C Apartments WhatsApp +382.67.000.431

📍Boundless Life Greece Review

Boundless’ Greece location is on the Greek island of Syros.  The highlights here are beautiful clear waters surrounding the island, the town has a year round local feel so you really feel part of the community and the food is amazing!  This Boundless Syros location has an indescribable magical feel.

📍Boundless Life Uruguay Review

Boundless’ Uruguay location is in the town of La Barra.  For us, the highlights here are the endless coastline, surfing everywhere and the ability to be from the ocean to the forest or farmland within 10 minutes.  The Boundless school and the Hub in this Uruguay location are the best, in my opinion.  There is just a unique vibe here in La Barra that is special.

Here is our personal experience and review of Boundless Life La Barra, Uruguay:

Additionally, you can take a peek at the amazing Boundless school in Uruguay here.

La Barra Uruguay Recommendations

  • Non Toxic Personal Care Products: I ordered shampoos, soaps, conditioner, cleaning products, and lotions from MomLab.com.uy !!
  • Pilates Reformer Classes, Nerea Pilates: There is a studio about a 5-10 minute drive from La Barra (40+ minute walk?). I organized private lessons with a group of Boundless Mamas. Contact +598.94.080.068
  • Body Worker / Masseuse / Naturopath in La Barra: She is amazing. Honestly, I wish I would have started going to her earlier. She is really really good! Juno: +598.98.585.618
  • BioChacara Organic Farm: organic farm with cute farm store about 10-15 minute drive from La Barra center; they are open most days to go and pick up veggies and fruit (usually fruit is from other farms) but they also deliver. +598.98.870.721
  • Juan Grande Granja Organica: This organic farm was my favorite but a further drive. Check it out on instagram to see when they are open. He let us pick our own veggies, eggs – so might be worth setting up time for that!
  • Some lesser known restaurants that we loved (but are a short drive away) are listed in our video under the FOOD section. (AguaVerde and Guayabo are two that were fantastic!)
  • TIP / REMINDER: (lots more of these in the video above): Make sure to bring cash to Uruguay in case the ATMs aren’t working. Lots of places only take cash here (plenty take credit card too, but just a tip that you’ll need more cash than usual and sometimes the ATMs weren’t working).

📍Boundless Life Review Tuscany Italy

Boundless’ Tuscany Italy location is in the town of Pistoia, just outside of Florence.  The highlights here are the food, the local Italian vibe and the easy access to the train for fantastic day trips.

Our video review of Boundless Life Tuscany can be found at within the same video where we review Boundless locations in Bali, Greece, Tuscany & Portugal.

We really loved our Boundless apartment in Tuscany as well, which you can get a sneak peek of here:

Boundless Life Pistoia Recommendations

I have several posts about Boundless Pistoia, which have many recommendations. My favorite is probably Gaetano – he has such wonderful olive oil tastings and cooking classes.

📍Boundless Life Portugal

Boundless’ Portugal location is in the town of Sintra, just outside of Lisbon.  The highlights here are the fairy-tale castles, the hiking, the cute old town and that it is overall inexpensive for Europe!
